How should I use Wealthfront's tax documents if I don't use TurboTax?
For clients who don't use TurboTax for tax prep, we've still worked to simplify your tax process.
In addition to your full, consolidated 1099 that we post to your dashboard under the "Documents" link we'll also provide an excel version of your transactions (for informational purposes), which makes it easier for you to fill out your tax documents or share with a tax advisor.
Additionally, in the event that you receive a corrected 1099, we provide a report that shows you any differences between your previous 1099 and the corrected 1099 to streamline the correction process.
