How does Wealthfront project college costs?

We project college costs by applying projected inflation on top of current college costs provided by the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System from the Department of Education.

We assume your current state of residency to project whether you will be eligible for in-state tuition at your selected school.

We project inflation on college costs of 1.1% above our projection for general price inflation.
