How does Wealthfront project my 529 savings?

Wealthfront estimates how much of your total college cost your account will cover while your child is enrolled.

Wealthfront assumes median market returns until your child attends college (learn more about our return assumptions here). We also assume that monthly savings displayed on your college goal reflect your actual monthly deposits, and that your monthly deposit increases over time with the projected rate of inflation to account for changes in purchasing power.
