Which investments can I transfer to Wealthfront?
In general, you can transfer most U.S. stocks and ETFs into your Automated Investing Account or Stock Investing Account at Wealthfront. After linking your external account, our software will review your portfolio and show you which investments you can transfer to Wealthfront.
Please note: Certain mutual funds can be transferred into automated and stock investing accounts, but they will be sold immediately once they arrive at Wealthfront. For our Automated Investing Accounts, the mutual fund sales proceeds will be automatically reinvested according to your target allocation. For Stock Investing Accounts, the mutual fund sales proceeds will be automatically moved to your Wealthfront Cash Account.
