How accurate are Wealthfront’s projections?

Projected portfolio values are intended to serve as a guide for making financial decisions over long time horizons. Projections refer to median expected outcomes. Some projections are less certain than others, such as projections for portfolios holding higher-risk asset classes (e.g., portfolios that mainly hold stocks) or projections for portfolios with more idiosyncratic risk (e.g., portfolios holding concentrated allocations in individual stocks).
