Who may open an account on Wealthfront?

Any individual 18 or over, who is a legal U.S. resident or a U.S. citizen (with a permanent U.S. address), and who also has a US social security number may open a Wealthfront account.

We currently require all Wealthfront clients to have a US social security number and be a permanent US resident within the 50 US states due to financial regulations. We will be sure to update our Help Center in the future if we do expand internationally.
