How do you project my portfolio’s returns in the graph?

We project the median value of your Wealthfront and other linked accounts based on our median estimates of expected returns and risks for the unique investments in your portfolio. These forward-looking estimates are obtained using a multi-factor framework that takes into account the performance of different asset classes and broader macroeconomic factors. These projections assume the composition of investments in your portfolio remains stable and do not take into account future trading decisions. Projections from our advice engine, Path, include the value of planned savings and projected retirement spending.
