How does Wealthfront trade my Automated Investing Account?

Wealthfront places trades in your Automated Investing Account when we invest a deposit, sell securities to satisfy a withdrawal, rebalance your portfolio, harvest tax losses, and more. When these trades are placed, we route them through one of our Executing Brokers. These brokers comply with FINRAs best execution practices

We are different from a traditional brokerage account because we do not guarantee the timing of your trades. If trade timing is a priority for you, we recommend that you use a traditional online brokerage service that would allow you to control the exact timing of your trades.
