What types of accounts does Wealthfront currently support?

Wealthfront supports the following account types:

High-interest cash accounts

  • Individual
  • Joint (specifically, joint tenants with rights of survivorship, or JTWROS)
  • Trust

General long-term investing (regular taxable brokerage accounts)

  • Individual
  • Joint (specifically, joint tenants with rights of survivorship, or JTWROS)
  • Trust

Retirement Investing (IRAs)

College Savings: 529 College Savings Plan accounts

**Currently we do not support inherited / beneficiary IRAs.**
