What transaction costs does Path assume for a home purchase in the Home Planning goal?
Path, our advice engine, considers that there are closing fees associated with your mortgage at the time of home purchase. We assume a closing fee of 2% on the value of your home is due upon the home purchase.
In the case of a planned home sale, Path assumes you pay a 6% real estate broker fee on the value of your home at the year of the sale.
Please see our methodology for more details.
