Are there any fees or restrictions on transferring funds between Wealthfront accounts?
We don’t charge any fees to transfer between your Wealthfront accounts, and there is no limit on the number of transfers you can make.
The minimum dollar amount to transfer into an Automated Investing Account is $100.
The minimum dollar amount to transfer out of an Automated Investing Account is $250.
The minimum dollar amount to transfer into or out of a Stock Investing Account is $1.
The Cash Account is offered by Wealthfront Brokerage LLC (“Wealthfront Brokerage”), a Member of FINRA/SIPC. Neither Wealthfront Brokerage nor any Wealthfront entity is a bank and the Cash Account itself is not a deposit account. Cash balances in the Cash Account are swept to Program Banks where they earn a variable annual percentage yield (“APY”). Investment management and advisory services are provided by Wealthfront Advisers LLC (“Wealthfront Advisers”), an SEC registered investment adviser, and financial planning tools are provided by Wealthfront Software LLC (“Wealthfront Software”).
