Edit your automated savings plan
You can pause or edit automated savings (formerly known as Autopilot) at any time. Pausing automated savings ends all monitoring and no new transfers will be scheduled until you turn automated savings back on.
To edit your automated savings settings:
- Log into the app or website.
- On your transfer hub, select the prompt to see your automated savings dashboard.
- Select Edit plan.
To pause automated savings:
- Log into the app or website.
- On your transfer hub, select the prompt to see your automated savings dashboard.
- Select Edit plan
- Select Pause automated savings
To turn automated savings back on:
- Log into the app or website.
- On your transfer hub, select the prompt to see your automated savings dashboard.
- Select Turn on automated savings
What happens if I edit my settings after a transfer has been scheduled?
If the transfer hasn’t been initiated yet, we'll cancel the transfer and look for extra cash based on your new settings.
If the transfer has already been initiated, it can’t be canceled. Once the transfer is complete, we'll look for extra cash based on your new settings.
Does pausing automated savings cancel my scheduled transfer?
This depends on the status of your transfer. If your transfer has already been initiated, it won’t be canceled. If your transfer hasn't been initiated yet, it will be canceled.
Does pausing automated savings remove my linked external account?
No, pausing automated savings doesn’t remove any linked accounts from Wealthfront. Learn how to remove a linked account
