How to transfer assets due to divorce

If you are a Wealthfront account owner and need to transfer or divide assets as part of a divorce settlement in a Wealthfront account, please fill out a short form to upload your divorce decree and/or settlement agreement along with additional information. You’ll need to sign in with your Wealthfront account, or create a profile if you don’t have one—this should only take a few minutes.

We’ll need a signed copy of the agreement that details who the assets in your Wealthfront account are awarded to or how they should be divided, so you’ll need to finalize these details before we can begin the process. Once we receive and review the documents, we’ll reach out to both parties with next steps over email.

If you are a third party working with a Wealthfront account owner, please have the owner of the Wealthfront account complete the form. If you have any questions, you can reach out to support@wealthfront.com.
